SANDRA YALTA
MSW, RSW
I am a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I have extensive experience working with children, youth, and families in a variety of settings, particularly in school-based mental health within the education system.
I am deeply committed to supporting and advocating for children, youth and families as they navigate emotional and mental health challenges. These may include stress, anxiety, depression, self-harm, crisis intervention, grief and loss, behaviour concerns, emotional regulation, school-related stress, and school avoidance. I also provide parenting and caregiver support, offering practical tools and guidance to strengthen relationships and improve family dynamics.
My therapeutic approach is strength-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed. I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities to reflect the unique needs, strengths, and goals of the individual and family.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, I am dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive space where every client feels seen, heard, and empowered.

Personally, I enjoy hiking with family, crafting and spending quality time with my loved ones.
