NAFIYSA BACCHUS

Nafiysa Bacchus is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers who earned her Master’s degree at the University of Windsor and her BSW at Toronto Metropolitan University (Formerly Ryerson). Her focus in private practice is working with children, youth and their families from a client-centred approach.
Nafiysa has clinical experience in community mental health settings, working collaboratively with families and supporting children and youth with their varying mental health challenges which include ADHD, anxiety, depression, and family/relationship stressors. Nafiysa utilizes various treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, as well as treating traumatic stress through an attachment, regulation, and competency framework. She provides a welcoming, calm environment which supports clients in feeling safe and supported to build skills and resiliency when faced with challenges.
