Tamara Grundland

Tamara Grundland completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto with a specialization in Children and Families and a collaborative degree in Addiction Studies. She is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Tamara works full-time as a Clinical Social Worker at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in the Youth Urgent Care Clinic and has extensive experience working with children, youth and families in community, educational and hospital settings. She offers services to clients and families struggling with a range of clinical presentations including mood, anxiety, behavioural and interpersonal issues. Tamara practices from an eclectic treatment model and collaborates with clients to provide individualized services that best suit their identified needs and goals. She works with several evidence based modalities and has certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy as well as additional training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. Tamara offers a client centered and trauma informed approach to treatment and is passionate about supporting individuals and families to build on their innate strengths and resiliencies.
